I will admit, my days at school were not the most academically successful of times - although I got where I wanted to get in the end, for as much time as I wished to be there. Ever since my early days in education, I have been fascinated with the numerical side of mathematics - and, within the last six years, this has permeated into my interests in music - studying Music Production at higher level for four terms before exiting the course to save my sanity.

I am a floating supervisor, which means that I have the ability to recategorize or rename any question which requires attention for spelling or grammar purposes, or indeed for remaining consistent with other questions so that the same question can be asked, in some cases, in at least 100 different ways.

I am a mentor, which means that if there are any new users who wish to receive help with their experience on Wikianswers, they are welcome to ask me what to do.

I am a Vandal Patrol: Site Investigator, which means that I have the patience to sit with Recent Answers open and remove any answers which appear offensive or needlessly vandalistic.

This may well turn into a "gripes" section, so please bear with me.

i) Questions which are the same should be merged unless the required answer is meaningless to the answer which the user wants to receive. Questions such as those which convert units to other units should be merged into each other as long as those two units are compatible. No good comes from saying things such as "There is no such unit as sentimeeters" - when it would be five times quicker to merge appropriate questions into each other.

ii) Questions should be fully answered. This is Wikianswers, not Wikihints, or Wikiclues. If someone has honestly come here looking for an answer, what they are hoping to receive, is someone who has fully understood that the person involved is looking for an answer, not a clue, or a hint. Partially answered, sarcastically answered, or indeed, answered with irrelevant comments such as "work out the answer yourself", look sloppy and are a sign of ignorance and lack of wish to co-operate with a community.

iii) Questions require the appropriate amount of explanation. A user who has asked a question should not come back to the question which they have previously answered, with the further question, "But, why is that so?"

iv) There is no such thing as easy questions. Nowhere, and I repeat, nowhere, should the response to a question imply, "You're stupid, you really should know the answer to this by now". That's just as insulting as replying rudely to a wrongly asked question. There are many people who I know personally who contribute to Wikianswers that have serious mental injuries. So while their speech and general organizational skills may appear perfect to everyone on the outside, there may be something inside their brains which prohibits their ability to problem-solve or to answer, what appears to us, to be "simple questions".

v) Everyone is equal. While some of us may be experienced enough to wear other hats, there is nothing stopping any user who feels as though they can be dedicated enough to the site, to gain the respect of those who make the decisions. In the end, we are all here for the same reasons - regardless of who we are or the problems each of us may face in our daily lives.
