Failure is an option. but it is not an option for me.
first foremost and most importantly, i am a christian. i believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and me.
some of my favorite scripture is: Psalm 91, 1 Corinthians 13:13, Proverbs 31, Isaiah 41:10, 2 Tim 6-7, and colossians 3:23.
i love books, music (you name it), racquet ball, ice skating, traveling, and puddle jumping. Sweeny Todd is my favorite play. I am a CREATION fest addict. I hate snow.
I am pro-life. I see an embryo as a life. I believe it has a soul. If I suggested aborting a animal embryo, hypothetically of course, I would be called a heartless selfish killer among other things. Abortion works at the present time for some people. But i can almost guarantee, women that have abortions 10, 15 years later, if not sooner, ask themselves 'what if'. Some people have an abortion to hide there own shame, and end up regretting it. An embryo might not be a 'full human' but it is a cell, and a cell thats alive, and alive means life, and a life is a life. A life is for no one, no matter who you are, to take.
When does life begin? thats not a biology question for the record. A ten year old can figure it out.
i love b & w movies. learning something and mastering something are two different things. I never plan to stop learning. Challenges are always fun... proving people wrong, is even better. =]
i am a patriot. sooo thank you a million times to each man and woman in uniform.

a lot of people forget that our freedom was bought with a huge price tag attached to it. freedom did not come free, and staying free costs a lot too.
be aware. girls and boys, be aware of your surroundings. always. please.

Hippocratic Oath:: Written 5th century BC:
"
| ...To consider dear to me, as my parents, him who taught me this art; to live in common with him and, if necessary, to share my goods with him; To look upon his children as my own brothers, to teach them this art. I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone. I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a pessary to cause an abortion. But I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts. I will not cut for stone, even for patients in whom the disease is manifest; I will leave this operation to be performed by practitioners, specialists in this art. In every house where I come I will enter only for the good of my patients, keeping myself far from all intentional ill-doing and all seduction and especially from the pleasures of love with women or with men, be they free or slaves. All that may come to my knowledge in the exercise of my profession or in daily commerce with men, which ought not to be spread abroad, I will keep secret and will never reveal. If I keep this oath faithfully, may I enjoy my life and practice my art, respected by all men and in all times; but if I swerve from it or violate it, may the reverse be my lot. | " |
that was written how many years ago? and how much of that applies to today? hmmm.. makes one wonder.
