Horticulturist, have worked in the Middle East, East Africa, West Africa and Southern Africa.

I have a fairly broad range of hobbies, interests and pastimes including; reading, writing, photography (mainly insects, plants and nature), geography, weather, traveling, IT, data forensics, plant genetics and hydroponics; also a very amateur insect collector.

I contribute to a number of online forums and have recently started adding to Wikimedia Commons as well; I have found this a brilliant resource for visual media and try to include (picture) links to WikiAnswer questions where relevant.
