I am an Emergency Medicine physician. I work in 2 busy community hospital Emergency Departments in Texas.
I graduated from medical school in 2006 in Texas, and completed my residency training in Pennsylvania. My wife and I moved back to Texas after finishing our training.
I recently passed my board certification exams, and am now a Board Certified Emergency Physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
I trained and worked as a Registered Nurse prior to going to medical school, so I can draw experience from both fields (nursing and medicine) to help my patients. In addition, I am an Osteopathic physician (DO), which means I have extensive training in the musculoskeletal system and its relationship to illness and disease. As a DO, I also have training in manipulative treatments to help treat my patients.
I am excited to contribute some of my knowledge to this site - hopefully I will be able to help people understand their medical conditions and treatments.
Remember, however, that all health or medical information on the web should be discussed with your own personal physician for completeness and to determine whether the information pertains to your personal problem.
