I'm Anne and I am a 25 year old student. I have tried out a bunch of different options for a career and I seem to be settled on a biology degree, specializing in microbiology. So, you may see a bent towards disease prevention in many of my posts. I have had some run-in's with the medical proffession in my time and had a hysterectomy when I was 21 after about seven years of trouble with endometriosis. I love to travel and have been to a laundry list of places including Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, Turks and Caicos and lots of places in the US. I am also an avid baker and once I worked as a pastry chef for a catering service. I have also been a preschool teacher, my class was ages 24-30 months but I worked in every age group during the years I was there. During that time I babysat regularly for a Asberger's child and his older sister; he had been one of my students and when he moved out of my class I volunteered to be his babysitter. Many of the answers I give are either based on experience or information I got from experts like my doctor or professors. If I don't know enough specifics I usually check an authoritative website (like for an illness I would check the CDC or the AMA.) Although I like to think I provide good advice/information, if it is really important I always recommend that you see a true professional (like a doctor, lawyer, plumber, priest, whatever fits the situation.) I love being here to help people and I hope I'm succeeding.
