Male, 64, Boonville, Missouri, USA
I was born in Grand Haven, Michigan in 1947 (That makes me a baby boomer!).
I served as a Combat Medic in the Vietnam war, earning an Army Commendation Medal with "V" for valor, a Purple Heart, and a Combat Medic Badge. I went on to complete 8 years on Active Duty in the Army and another 7 in Missouri National Guard and Army Reserve units.
I have worked in Newspaper, Radio, and Television news; once owned a Stock Car Racing Public Relations business; and created the 77th Artillery Association: bringing together well over a thousand men who served in combat and peacetime in the Army.
I am a licensed Amateur Radio 'Ham,' and serve actively in a conservative Southern Baptist Church in Central Missouri.
My hobbies are Bible study and instruction, photography, videography, web page design & editing, and tracking down Veterans for the buddies who served with them.
My wife (Joanie) and I have been married for over 35 years, and she also served in the National Guard and Army Reserve for 10 years and is a licensed Ham. She is also a far better photographer than I am.
