I'm an animal trainer (specializing in Canine behavior), artist (painting, drawing, photography), and writer. I've got a wealth of experience on a number of topics, but my area of expertise is pet species and their care. I currently share my home with 4 dogs (Chihuahua, Havanese, Lurcher, Miniature American Eskimo), a Congo African Grey, 4 Red Eared Sliders, 7 Fancy Rats, and a Chinchilla... no partridges, no pear trees. ;)

I'm also a proud Attachment Parenting practicing mom. My baby girl, Lily-Ann Marie, was born on July 20, 2007. I am a strong supporter of baby-wearing, cloth diapering, breast feeding, and co-sleeping.
