Evelyn F. Ireland, B.F.A., M.P.A, CAE, has served as Executive Director of the National Association of Dental Plans^® (NADP^®)--the representative and recognized resource of the dental benefits industry--since 1992. She is frequent speaker on trends in dental benefits and is knowledgeable on a range of industry operational issues as well as the detailed industry data collected by NADP over the past two decades.

She has been named annually as one of ten health insurance leaders in Insurance Newscast's "Insurance Industry 100 Most Powerful ( North America)" annually since 2005. In 1999, Ms. Ireland was the only insurance executive recognized as one of 25 influential dental leaders by the Dental Manufacturers Association of America. Prior to joining NADP, Ms. Ireland spent over 20 years in various segments of the insurance industry.

Ms. Ireland holds a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, cum laude, from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She also studied at the JFK School of Government at Harvard and completed the NAIC Commissioner's Seminar at the College of Insurance in New York as well as the Leadership America "Women Leaders" training program. She has been a Certified Association Executive (CAE) since 1997.

Ms. Ireland has been active in volunteer work over her career as a founder of Executive Women in Texas Government and service on several Boards related to her personal interests including the United States Rowing Association, the Executive Women's Golf Association and the Austin Women's Center. Her volunteerism extends to committee work for the DFW Society of Association Executives CAE Study Group, the Richardson Symphony League, Temple E-man-uel in Dallas.
