Unfortunately I haven't been able to contribute much to the site recently, and I probably won't be contributing regularly for the foreseeable future! I come and edit a bit when I can though!
I received my PhD from the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA in the field of chemistry. I am now a postdoctoral scholar at University of California at Berkeley. My area of specialty is physical and electrochemistry, in particular solar energy conversion and other renewable energy sources. I am also an avid outdoors-man, with many years experience backpacking, camping, alpine-mountaineering, rock climbing, bicycling, snow boarding and surfing.
