When you're given lemons, make lemonade ....
With limes, if you're lucky, you get LimeAid.
In honor of LA, my amazing mentor,
Semper Fi (Always True)

My formal training has included Internal Medicine, Psychiatry and Neurology (Board Cert.), Geriatric Medicine (Board Cert.) Addiction Medicine (Board Cert.), Pain Medicine (Board Cert.) and Public Health.
I enjoy teaching medical students and residents in the hospital setting. I like to learn something new every day. Critical thinking and discourse are stimulating activities for me. Refining my conception of controversial issues is fascinating. And then a glass of red wine at the end of the day, with a little jazz, Latin or classical music (or The Daily Show with Jon Stewart!)
Family and friends make me laugh (and sometimes tear up!). Life is a blessing, one day at a time.
P.S. Watch out. I love to change my age. It is just a number. For me age means nothing. What a wonderful thing. Cycling and roller blading are wonderful, too.
