Hi, I'm Jill. I have a degree in Interior Design from Bradley University, with which I enjoyed a 15-year career, designing everything from retail display fixtures to custom furniture to luxury yacht interiors. Now I am homeschooling my two children in the Historic Pullman District of Chicago, Illinois. Before my big-city life, I was a farm girl and wanted nothing more than a shady tree, a pile of cats and a good book. I hope to return to that life one day. I love books, old houses, the scent of horses, photography, bees, polarfleece, baking, Hudson Valley Impressionism, Pandora.com, sunlight on old bricks, the Scottish highlands, Steve Martin and toffee. I have a passion for learning, and my interests have led me down many dark and winding paths. I have met many fascinating and inspiring people, whom I have no problem tapping for information!
