Joe Hepperle lives in West Union, Iowa, USA and is the father of ten (10) children ranging in age from thirty-two (32) years old, down to Three (3) years old. Eight boys, two girls. Two sets of twins, one set identical boys, and one set fraternal boys. The oldest five are full-grown. The youngest five are at home with Joe and their mother.

Joe is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps (1975-1979). During this enlistment, Joe traveled on Navy boats ...er ...er Navy Ships! to many places in the Pacific, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines. Joe is a member of the order of Shellbacks.

Joe speaks English and some (not fluent) Spanish, Tagalog, Lao and Bosnian.

Joe welcomes all people as friends. It is up to you to demonstrate that you are not. Joe appreciates attempts by other people to "knock him down a peg, or two" because it helps ensure that my hat will always fit my head. (Is that crazy, or what?)
