Psst...Before you read on, check out the blog that fellow Supervisor On the Wallaby and I do. If you like animals, you're sure to enjoy it! :)

Hello! :) I'm Luvhistory.
I graduated from college in June of 2010 with a bachelor's degree in history. I love to learn and I love to help others so WikiAnswers provides the best of both. I have a passion for animals and American history, particularly military history. I have been a born-again Christian since I was about 17 years old and my faith is very important to me.
My friends and family have told me that I am sweet... most of the time anyway. I honestly don't know if I am or not; I'm just me. I am also compassionate almost to a fault. I love to read everything from the classics (A Tale of Two Cities, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Uncle Tom's Cabin, To Kill a Mockingbird, etc.), Christian fiction, historical fiction to fantasy (the Chronicles of Narnia, The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy being my favorites), my Bible, and many more genres.
I also love music. I was raised listening to country music and the music my parents (who are baby boomers) listened to which includes classic rock. I still love both genres although I cannot stand sappy or extremely twangy country music (like pretty much anything done by Tammy Wynette) and I cannot stand certain classic rock artists (like for instance AC/DC). I also love to listen to Contemporary Christian music, Big Band and Swing, hard rock, Motown (my favorite group being the Temptations), some pop music and every so often I get in the mood to listen to classical music. The mood for classical music typically comes about when I am trying to relax and/or focus.
I love animals, as I mentioned earlier in my profile, and I was considering going back to school to pursue the Animal Sciences. I am now feeling a shift in career avenues start to happen and teaching is coming more and more to the forefront. I still love animals, but I'm not sure that I want to make a career out of that. Teaching would utilize two things that I excel at and love to do: helping others and explaining things such as history or characteristics of various animals, to others. As I said earlier, I already have a bachelor's degree in History. It has taken me quite a while to figure out what I want to pursue in the way of a career. ;) I am a "cat-person" although I like dogs too... just not as well as cats. I tend to prefer larger dogs (like retrievers) over smaller dogs and larger cats (like in the 15 to 20 lb range) over smaller cats.
I am a huge college football fan and my favorite team is the Ohio State Buckeyes. I look forward to the college football season each year and my dad and I have tried to attend at least one game each season since I first started going to games when I was 18. I find it interesting that a person such as myself who is afraid of falling and is not overly keen about being in large crowds of people, absolutely loves going to college football games, where you have to be up some distance in the stands and where you are surrounded by thousands of people, most of whom you do not know. Nonetheless, it is a lot of fun. Go Bucks!
Oh. Something else about me, just in case you can't tell...I love to write. I don't consider myself a writer by any stretch of the imagination, but it's not uncommon for some of my friends and family members to get a long-winded email from me as I particularly love to write and receive emails. I don't know why. (shrugs shoulders)
I have noticed that many of the other contributors, Supers, etc. say that they are addicted to this site. I now realize that I have become addicted to WikiAnswers too. Somebody help! ;)
For any of my fellow Supers who are looking for a few laughs or maybe just need a smile, check out the Fun Questions subforum in the Supervisors Forum. It is a lot of fun. You won't be disappointed! :) For you non-Supers out there, go to the Community Forum under Just Chatting and take a look at the "I wish done evil style" thread. It too is quite funny.
While my Wikiholic badge shows my real-world name, Ashley, on WikiAnswers I would prefer if you called me either Luvhistory, LH, or Luv. In emails and on chat though, you can call me Ashley. Weird, I know but I like to keep the two separate for some reason.
I will continue to update my profile with pictures and such as I can. Check back soon!
And now some pictures, clipart, badges, etc....

This badge, I think, is self-explanatory.

A big thank you to Ilovecatz1234 for this beautiful badge!

Date graduated: July 22, 2010
Thank you so much to my mentor: On the Wallaby.
She has no idea how much of a blessing she has been to me.

I will truly miss my little feline!

This a recent photo of me. I don't know why, but I have never liked pictures of myself. Never.

In this pic, I'm standing in front of an old stereo my parents had. That stereo was the first piece of furniture they bought if I'm not mistaken. lol They don't like music or anything. Not at all. ;)

This is a painting my brother and sister-in-law painted for me for Christmas 2011. I love unicorns, butterflies, hummingbirds and color and this painting has all of the above. It was, by far, my favorite Christmas gift.
I tend to find God in nature.

"Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are."-Luke 12:27 (NLT)

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"-Matthew 6:26 (NIV)

"You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light."-Psalm 18:28 (NIV)
The following poem is one that was on the front of a graduation card I received when I graduated from college and I immediately fell in love with it.
"Just think... you're not here by chance, but by God's choosing. His hand formed you and made you the person you are. He compares you to no one else-you are one of a kind.
You lack nothing that His grace can't give you. He has allowed you to be here at this time in history to fulfill this special purpose for this generation." - Roy Lessin
I hope you find inspiration from it!
God Bless!
