I am just an "ordinary guy" in most ways, but I do have a technical background. I have been playing with electronics since I was very young (probably 6 years old) and I have a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. I have been working in that industry "professionally" since about 1979.

I also like to do my own car repairs & maintenance. Since the automotive industry has "switched over" to computer controlled engines and such, I have found myself "exploring" the control systems of my own vehicles and even adding "options" and modifications that were not originally installed.
