Minerva

Minerva is the collective alias of the Answers.com editorial team (Answers.com is the parent company of WikiAnswers).

What we have in common: We're all US-born; we all reside in Jerusalem; we're all word-loving grammar geeks with an antipathy to written sloppiness and ambiguity. We all believe in providing answers to any question you care to ask. We have our work cut out for us, and we have the best kind of job since we're constantly learning.

Why Minerva? Well, she's the Roman-goddess equivalent of the Renaissance man. She knows crafts, commerce, poetry, medicine, martial arts and war - kind of like our site, which spans the spectrum of human knowledge. Her combination of wisdom and commerce really speaks to us, since our mandate is to create the ideal source of information - and we also have to make money (which pays our salaries).

Plus, she's a goddess. Need we say more?
