I have been in private practice and also been an instructor for close to 20 years. In that time I have taught just about every subject that has to do with massage therapy.
I am a very curious person and enjoy learning about how our bodies work from a natural perspective.
I have a Master's Degree in Art, as well as extensive education and experience in many natural health practices that include massage therapy and bodywork. I also enjoy many related topics such as: nutrition, meditation, yoga, and martial arts.
My current occupation is teaching anatomy and physiology, as well as pathology, in a massage therapy school. I also teach continuing education classes to working massage therapists. And, to top it all off, I have my own private practice that specializes in Thai massage and Neuromuscular therapy.
In addition, I also have my own website that helps massage therapy students prepare for the US National exam: http://www.massage-nce.com/.
One of the reasons why I enjoy contributing to WikiAnswers is because it helps me practice my teaching skills by answering Massage Therapy and Human Anatomy questions. Of course the real reason is: It's just so much fun!
