These Past Professions and Hobbies lists are very limited.
I have also been a Secretary, Concrete Tester, Water Bottler, Warehouse Picker, Draftsman, Public Opinion Surveyor and also a Land Surveyor.
My primary hobbies are Reading (mostly Science magazines, but also books on Science, Architecture, Technology, History, Fiction - depending on the mood I'm in. I usually have three or four books on the go at any time - to take care of my cognitive whims; by the seat-of-my-pants research online, Word Yacht, and keeping an eye on many interesting Human endeavors (New Horizons, Messenger, Dawn spacecraft, Burj Dubai, The Chicago Spire, Space-X endeavor to become the first privately funded, privately researched corporation to put people into orbit and make a profit at it.)
I am active in Freemasonry, where I am a Past Master of Mosaic Lodge #176 in Calgary. (for those Non-Freemasons, nobody worships me - it's just a title).
Sadly, I lost my older brother (and roommate), Michael, to brain cancer on July 3, 2008.
I also spend much time Data collecting - particularly if I can put the data into an Excel Spreadsheet. After the Wheel, I think the computer spreadsheet is the greatest invention of all time. I maintain spreadsheets on the Worlds Longest Lived Persons (from grg.org), Every human spaceflight ever undertaken (so I can see the name of every person who has ever been into space, and for how long), and many others.
I also maintain a daily diary - having followed in the footsteps of my Mother (may she rest in peace) - and have not missed an entry in more than 18 years. And, of course, I maintain a spreadsheet on the statistics of my diary as well. Having rated every day out of 10 for all these years, I literally have a graph showing the ebb and flow of my life for the past two decades.
