Fast forwarding to the present, I still live in Michigan and have a very small business making functional art, mostly with wood. Some of my wares include turnings, boxes, canes, cabinetry, walking sticks, jigs & fixtures, pens, and more. I enjoy working in many types of mediums to create both functional and decorative art. For example, I paint with acrylics on canvas and dabble in other mediums when the mood strikes me. Making things with my hands and my imagination is one of my greatest joys in life. The key to creating something beautiful, I believe, is an abundance of patience, or tenacity, and attention to detail.
