I chose the name "Savemoney101" for the simple reason that I think its time we share our knowledge and help each other understand where we can save some money.

Having worked in the real estate, title insurance and mortgage arenas for many years, I have seen first-hand how people have been taken advantage of by "professionals" in the industry. Most of the time it has been because they did not understand the amount of control they had over their real estate transaction until it was too late.

I helped start the website EasyTitleQuote.com in hopes that people would learn the powers they have with regard to their choice of a title insurance provider. The site saves people money on the cost of title insurance and title-related closing costs by offering free title insurance quotes from up to five title companies. Each of these companies is willing to answer and explain any questions people have about title insurance costs or issues that people often come across when getting ready to buy, sell or refinance.

The great thing about WikiAnswers and what attracts me to this site is that people can ask questions and get the answers they need before someone has a chance to take them for a costly ride. Spending money by choice is great, but spending money you really could have saved with just a little education is not my idea of fair, so I hope to help where I can.
