I am a 60 yr old woman, that I like to think has lived live well and hard. I've lived on a farm most of my life, raised 3 children, took care of a 350 head livestock operation for 25 years, and worked as a journeyman maintenance mechanic for the last 10 years I was able to for for American Standard. During the years on the farm I also raised "Working livestock guardian dogs" more specifically Great Pyrenees. I've written one book on the dogs and numerous published articles. No, I'm not one of the "chosen". I'm just one that hasn't found much I wouldn't try and did accomplish most of that. With 3 girls in the family, I was the "tomboy" that grew up with dogs and horses in the country with no indoor plumbing until I was 12 when we moved to town in the new house my dad built.
