Hey everyone! I'm going to be off Wiki for the next couple weeks. I need to study for course exams and a LOT of tests. I might be off/on on the weekends, but I'm not sure as of right now. I won't get to emails and messages for some time. Thanks for understanding, and I hope to see you all during my summer break!

The name is Spottedtail, but you can feel free to call me Spotty if you wish ;) I'm a Category Supervisor and I'm here on WikiAnswers to make sure that the site is in tip top shape. I became a member of the site in 2009, but wasn't active until early 2010. I was considered a 'chatter', and I came on the site to chat with other contributors. That all changed when I became a Special Projects Assistant on WikiAnswers. It inspired me to look beyond messaging contributors and become a contributor myself.

And a year or so later, I believe I have achieved that.

I have a serious WikiAnswers obsession, as you can see at the top of my profile page. Ever since I got started working on the site, I've just loved every second of it!

The contributors and the supervisorsare so nice and friendly! The whole community is like a second family to me, and that's one of the many reasons I keep coming back to WikiAnswers <3

My Hobbies

I have many hobbies, but here are my top ten:

Playing Piano

I've been playing piano for years, and hope to continue for the rest of my life. I play classical music, but I can be found playing hymns and contemporary songs.

Writing Science Fiction

I've been writing since I was nine years old, my first story being about a girl who tried to play soccer (the character's name was different, but she was modeled after me and my efforts to play the game).

Equestrian Sports: Riding Horses (English)

I've been riding for a year now, and I really enjoy it. My favorite gait is a canter :)

Reading Fiction and Nonfiction

Reading is something I've always enjoyed. Most nonfiction literature I enjoy is historical. I love learning about different historical periods.

Reading My Bible

Reading my Bible is a hobby I've had since I was able to read.

Listening to Music. . .

Well, who doesn't like to do that?! My favorite genre is Christian rock ;) My favorite bands are Skillet, Flyleaf, Fireflight, TobyMac and Evanescence. I also like worship, like Chris Tomlin, Third Day, Casting Crowns, and Jeremy Camp.

Going Spelunking in Deep Dark Caves. . .

Spelunking is a fun activity I took up a couple years ago. It sounds very dangerous, but it's really not. If you get past the danger, it's loads of fun! If you're cluster phobic, I don't recommend you crawling through caves.

Conspiracy Theories

Conspiracy Theories is something my father and I enjoy learning about. You never know what's going on behind the curtain ;) Just keep your eyes open and be aware.

Running Cross Country

Running Cross Country is something I've enjoyed doing for many years. I had an injury recently that put an end to it for over a year, and now I'm slowly getting back into it ;)

I could go on and on about her all day, but in a nutshell, let's just say that she's the best!!
