Greetings, kind visitor!

My name is Vampyria. I'm 26 years of age and currently work on website design. I'm the one that makes the graphics and help make websites look as pretty and eye-catching as they can :P I'm a creative person; I have been scribbling and drawing (mostly fantasy - especially dragons and other monsters!) since I was old enough to pick up a crayon, and I took that a step further when I went to University to study Digital Animation for three glorious years. I Graduated in 2008. While I haven't done much 3D since then, I have put my drawing skills to the test by helping create websites.

Aside from drawing, I greatly enjoy writing! I love writing stories, purely for fun. I'll probably never publish (or finish!) some of them, but gives me another creative outlet I can't otherwise do with artwork. My other hobbies and interests include reading, listening to good ol' Rock and Metal music (with other genres thrown in), taking long walks (especially at night) and last but not least, my pets.

Its because of my pets I am on Answers.com; I have learned many many things from and because of them, and I wanted to share my knowledge with others (also because I was sure to overload and random facts would spill out of my ears. Not fun or pleasant, I can assure you! =P)

So, I guess its time to introduce them. Firstly, the furry feline:

This is Locke. Locke is a 1 year old cat my partner and I rescued from the streets last summer. He was walking me to the train station when this boy, possibly no older than ten years old, approached us with a little kitten stuffed inside his hoodie. Naturally I went "awwww! Lookit the kitten!", then the brat offered to sell us the kitten for just £10 ¬.¬

...Needless to say, we bought the kitten and brought it back home. We figured it'd have a far happier life with us, or at an animal shelter (one of the options back then). If we hadn't of taken it, the poor kitten would have ended up in a bin, or worse (the kid seemed that desperate to be rid of the thing >.< )

This tiny kitten, no older than eight weeks old, spent the first month being nursed back to health. He was riddled with fleas, worms, had a sore back leg and a very high temperature that just made him want to sleep all the time, and had two bouts of cat flu. Regardless, he grew fast and ate with a huge appetite, sleeping and playing as well as any other kitten as he recovered.

Well, look at him now! He's grown and developed into a small, slender cat; full of chatter (he LOVES to talk!) and life and energy! His eyes and face are constantly moving and full of expression, and his coat glows in health. A far cry from the tiny kitten that just wanted to sleep all day.

Now, for the other pets:
For several years I have kept and bred Peruphasma Schultei, sometimes known as Peruvian Black Stick Insects or Black Beauty Stick Insects. They are incredibly beautiful, for stick insects. They are a velvet black, with striking yellow eyes and red mouths and (as adults) wings.
Here is a digital painting I did of my favourite adult male that was named Bunneh. He hatched with bent antennae, much like a cartoon rabbit's ears are. The name stuck =P

Will probably put photos up at a later date.
