I have been building and repairing computers for most of the past decade. I have had little "formal" training; most of my knowledge has come from trial-and-error, and personal research. I have built and maintained my own home network (from 2 to as many as 5 PCs, with an HP laserjet printer (networked), bubblejet USB printer, and parallel interface flatbed scanner, shared USB external harddrive and multiple Operating Systems).
I have also spent 5+ years working for a local cable provider, both on TV cable, and on the internet side.
