Hi. I'm Zanbabe. My name in real life is Suzanne.
My most common nicknames are Zanne, or Z
I'm currently working as a Quality Coordinator... part of the Community Development team here at WikiAnswers. If anyone has questions about the site, or needs help with anything, feel free to write me. My email address is zanbabe@wikianswers.com.
Before that, I was the Program Design Manager over the Technology courses for an online college. It doesn't pay as well as Technical Writing, but being back in Education was refreshing. I really like feeling like I can make the learning experience better for people. Which is the same as I feel here. WikiAnswers is like a huge knowledge base. I learn a lot here, and I hope others do as well. I like the idea of a place where we are all teaching and learning together.
I was also a college professor for quite a few years. My favorite class to teach was Science Fiction. We had a LOT of fun in that class... and I love the genre. I also love teaching poetry. Not that I didn't love my other subjects (writing, ethics, etc.), but those two subjects were the most fun.
Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. I also like to play board and card games... I like going to the game store and buying new games to try out with my friends.
I went on a Mission for my church (Mormon/LDS) to Montana and Wyoming. Since I grew up in Denver, the small-town life was almost like visiting a different country. :) It gave me an appreciation for the unique challenges faced by rural communities.
I do a scripture of the day list if anyone wants to tune in: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LDS_Daily_Scripture

I have degrees in English and Adult Education, and was a Psychology major for a while too. I love WikiAnswers because I get to philosophize and feel like I am helping people at the same time. :)
