Now don't tell me Obama would of just whooped him like he whooped McCain; he was newbie at the time and his name was nothing to (mainly) Chicago and Mike Ditka was the 1985 Superbowl Champion as a coach.

Look at America and all the people we elected:

• Arnold Schwarzenegger- Governor of California- Actor
• Kevin Johnson- Mayor of Sacramento- Pro Basketball player
• Ran and lost: Lynn Swan- Mayor of Pittsburgh- Pro Football player

Considering all of that, how can you say that Mike Ditka could not win the senate seat?
