The 1990 baseball cards came out during the peak of the baseball card boom which started around 1984/85. Enormous amount of cards were printed up to meet the high demand. Today the sets out number the amount of collectors.

The 1990 Topps baseball card set consists of 792 cards, and has a book value of about $15.00 in Near Mint condition, and about $25.00 for a sealed factory set.

Key cards in the set include: Card #414 - Frank Thomas RC, card #382 - Bernie Williams RC, and card #692 - Sammy Sosa RC. NOTE: Error card #414 - Frank Thomas RC, No Name on front, has a book value of $500.00 in Near Mint condition.
