You basically need to sell your 1.8t and go out and buy a 1.6. They have different engines
Need to know whether you have a gas/petrol or diesel engine, and also, if you're in Europe, if you have the diesel engine with the DPF.
If the engine has spark plug it is said to be petrol engine, and if it has a pump to inject fuel then it is diesel engine.
Yes you can mix everything but don't put it in your engine because it will destroy it.
its a 2001 ford focus 1.6 petrol
Fuel [Petrol] Gauges that Fail to WorkAlthough there could be one or more other causes for a fuel/Petrol gauge to fail to work, the answer is YES, a "blown" fuse could cause the gauge to not work.
To open the petrol tank on a Passat, inside the car next to the Handbrake on the Centre Console there is a button which when pressed releases the flap to the Fuel Filler Cap. Open the Flap unscrew the stopper and there you are. When finished be sure to lock tight the cap and make sure the Flap is fully closed flush to the bodywork.
