Why are some men insecure and controlling?

My experience tells me that men who grew up in an unloving family (parents either divorced, non-existent, physically/mentally abusive, etc) tend to become emotionally needy and clingy.
The way they respond to their own neediness is either being extremely shy and withdrawn or overly controlling. They grew up in a situation that was completely out of their control and they're not about to enter another one so they'll "take control" of everything, including how you dress, talk, walk, etc.
the fact that the guy is insecure about you should make yall smile!!!!!!!!lose of a loved one is a very touchy area in a mans life,and its hard to find that special girl that you commit to and call her your own(ahaaahh)...with experience the men understands how easy it is for a different men to swipe your girl of her feet because before you realised that she was the one,there was specific things that you did to *taken* women!!!so losing her ain't something i would want to go through ,i ain't insecure but just want to embrace the fact that you are a part of my life because that's the greatest feel ever...#####Vincent
