yes. she was a seaman at the time, cranking in the mess decks. as the cole was refueling she voluteered to take trash to the dumpster which required sailors to leave the boat and walk on the pier. as she threw away the trash she was blown off her feet by the explosion. she had no clue it was a terrorist attack, she thought somebody was on the smoke deck as the Cole was refueling so she ran back to the boat. if she would have waited one more minute down in the galley she would have been another possible fatality.
