Was Space Voucher really a lost episode of Lost In Space?

I believe that CBS pulled this one after it's first and only network run because of a legal dispute between Irwin and the script writer. I remember seeing it on a local station around '82, and thought it was a great one; very funny and suspenseful at the same time. I remember Red Skelton (who owned a piece the show) was Popka (or was it Popak?) and had something to do with a space war between his people and the Drothkins over an old debit (the Space Voucher in question). I think Irwin lost the case, and had to destroy the episodes negative. The above is a nice fan legend. It has no basis in fact.Every single last bit of information about Lost in Space has been leaked to fans over the years. It's possible to find unaired scripts, Behind the Scenes photos and so on. The LIS cast, crew and writers have been extensively interviewed over the years. In other words, there is no major unknown information about the show. There have been no Space Voucher scripts. Cast, crew and writers have not mentioned it. There are no photos from the episode. The episode was supposedly aired on the USA network, yet not one fan videotaped it. Copies of scripts for two unfilmed episodes exist: Carnival in Space and Willoughby. If Space Voucher is real, then why did absolutely no one involved save anyting from the show? All LIS episodes were registered in the copyright office. Why is Space Voucher mysteriously absent? Let's use Occam's Razor and apply the simplest solution: the reason there is no documentation for Space Voucher is that iit it's a fiction. It doesn't exist, except in fans' imagination.
