Was there ever a book written about the murder committed by Pauline Parker and Juliet Hulme?

[Edit]

Yes there are books!

Yes there are. One very old one from 1958 called The Evil Friendship, completely in line of the press in those days.

A much better one is the book of two female journalists, Glamuzina, Julie and Laurie, Alison J.
"Parker and Hulme: A Lesbian View." New Women's Press, Auckland, NZ, 1991. Accession 25654735. ISBN 0908652542. 214 pp.,

There is also a stage play "daughters of heaven" and a French movie from 1971 "Mais ne nous delivrez pas du mal" , but that film is only vaguely based upon it.

***There is also the American movie Heavenly Creatures, and of course Juliet Hulme herself is now known as the author Anne Perry, who went on to write murder mysteries after commiting one herself.
