Yes, mold does grow better in the dark. Since mold does not produce it,s own food using photosynthesis as other plant do, it does not need as much sun-light. Hope this helps to answer this question! P.S. I only know this because I'm doing a science fair project on the topic of bread mold!
not directly but light contains UV which inhibits mold growth
Bread molds faster in the dark
Yes because of the photosynthesis it cant make its own mold
it groes better in heat. so i think in light.... it groes better in heat. so i think in light....
in the sunlight because sunlight is one of the main things producers need in order to go through the process of photosynthesis which gives gives them back energy to grow
darkness mold loves the dark it dies in direct sunlight.
dark
it grows better in the dark
maybe...
Neither , the will grow at the same rate , no matter if it is in light , or darkness .
a plant will grow faster in sunlight becuse the sunlight has its minerals that the plant will mke into food adn the dark is not light enough to produce the energy or minerals for a plant to survive offof
it is all about the microorganism that decomposes the food and these bacterias grow in light faster then in dark. there consuming ability increases..
Plant cells have special light receptors. When they don't get enough light, they signal the plant to grow long and thin to seek out a light source.
In heat because bread needs moisture to grow mold
light area
Yes
Yes. They actually grow faster in the dark than in the light.
In the dark because in sunlight the moisture from the brbead would dy out
Mold usually grows on things in the dark because the light prevents the mold from growing. Mold will grow very slow when put in the sun but in the dark, it will grow faster! :)
Neither , the will grow at the same rate , no matter if it is in light , or darkness .
Mold will grow faster on white bread.
why does bread grow in the dark
Mold can grow better in the light because when fruits get into the dark they can spoil faster and get soft/ugly
Yes. In fact, some species of mushroom grow better in dark, damp conditions.
actually a bean seed will grow faster in the dark. it grows faster because of its conditions, it has to grow higher to reach any light. Although it may grow faster it has less colour and 'attractiveness' aha. it turns into a white, pale colour, with no leaves.
The temperature is more of a factor than light.
