If it is the same as the 90deg adapter as on the 97 Grand Cherokee, you will need a short, male torx that fits on a socket driver. It has to be short because the adapter is so close to the inside of the tire well.
If you are removing it because it is leaking oil, you can buy the o-ring set from a dealer for about $10.00. Change the whole set - not just the one that is leaking.
