both follow quite much the same laws .....bt after following d laws if it comes outtof d other side its refraction if it comes out frm d same surface frm wer it entered its reflection.
Say you have a hand laser, a mirror, and a piece of glass.
Take the laser and shine it into the mirror, it will reflect back at you and you'll have a dot on your shirt.
Now take the laser and shine it into the glass. It'll go through the glass, but not straight through directly, it'll refracta little bit. It'll go at an angle.
In reflection, a light ray strikes a surface at an incidence angle (measured by the normal) and reflects at an equal angle. In refraction, light strikes a surface, passes through it, and is bent in the process.
Simply put, reflection is when light bounces off a surface, and refraction is when it is bent.
reflection - it bounces off a substance refraction - the course of movement is bent
Reflection is for the light rays to bounce, and refraction is for the light rays to bend. maybe not equally, but enough to bend or bounce.
refraction is where the soubd waves bend, reflection is when sound waves bounce off of things and change direction.
in reflection, angle of incidence is equal to angle of refraction.... where as in scattering, there is no such law....:)
refraction
the difference between refraction and reflection is that in refraction light bends and in reflection it is reflected

refraction
In reflection the light bounces bach; in refraction the light passes through, but is bent at the interface.
refraction and reflection are similar because *they both have to do with waves*
Refraction is better.
the difference between reflection and reflection, is nothing. they basically mean the same thing unless you are thinking of it in other terms. Answer Do you mean reflection and refraction, if so then reflection is the immage you see reflected back at you when you look in a mirror. Refraction is when a light wave is bent. When you put a straw in a glass of water, you will notice that the part of the straw in the water is out of line with the part of the straw above the water.
