both follow quite much the same laws .....bt after following d laws if it comes outtof d other side its refraction if it comes out frm d same surface frm wer it entered its reflection.

∙ 12y agoSay you have a hand laser, a mirror, and a piece of glass.
Take the laser and shine it into the mirror, it will reflect back at you and you'll have a dot on your shirt.
Now take the laser and shine it into the glass. It'll go through the glass, but not straight through directly, it'll refracta little bit. It'll go at an angle.

∙ 14y agoIn reflection, a light ray strikes a surface at an incidence angle (measured by the normal) and reflects at an equal angle. In refraction, light strikes a surface, passes through it, and is bent in the process.
