My data only goes back to 1954, but the record since then is held by the 2002 Texas Rangers, who homered in 27 straight games.

Despite the fact that this is only the record since 1954, I'd be willing to bet that this is the All-Time record as well.

The Boston Red Sox are the latest team that has hit 4 consecutive home runs in a game ... accomplished in a game that was played against the New York Yankees, early in the 2007 Baseball season in a game played in Boston. The player involved in this latest time were Manny Ramirez, J.D. Drew, Mike Lowell, and Jason Varitek. I believe it has happened four other times in history - all happening after 1960. It is interesting to note that J.D. Drew was also involved in the fourth time it had happened in history ... which was last year in 2006. No other player in history has ever done that. Also impressive in Drew's having been a part in the historical accomplishment twice now, is the fact that he was a part of the string in both the National and American League.

15 players are tied and hold the record for most home runs in a single game with 4. The first to accomplish it was Bobby Lowe of the Boston Beaneaters in 1984. The most recent was Carlos Delgado of the Toronto Blue Jays in 2003. 12 of the players accomplished this in a nine inning game while three did it in extra innings.
