Because New Zealand is on the fault line so, the tectonic plates must have shifted this would have caused the earth to shake. The final result ending with the earthquake, which damaged Napier. We lost lives and many buildings/structures bur Napier grew stronger as a city, as a family, and together they all rebuilt Napier making it a stronger town. We still are growing together and living in Napier as a big, big family making us all well and happy after this horrible disaster, which occurred on Tuesday the third of Febuary 1931. It may seem like so long ago, but we still believe that we can grow even stronger, closer, and happy as one big, amazing family.
