What Norse god is Thursday named for?

Thor

Thursday was named for Thor (Thor's day), who was the Norse god of the sky, thunder, and weather.

Thor

Not greek mythology. Thor, Norse god of thunder. If you are asking what god he most resembled it would probably be Zeus- sky gos whose main weapon was a thunderbolt- or Ares god of war.
