NOTHING AT ALL.
All he did was invent the telephone; which was a lucky mistake. Hearing folks use the telephone today.
He was attempting to make a hearing device to help his Deaf wife hear better.
Alexander G. Bell made it worse for the Deaf for a very long time, and his organization still oppresses Deaf people.
Ack!
