I work as a Vet Tech in WA state. You should wait 2 weeks after your puppies last set of vaccines to put your puppy in a kennel, they can get kennel cough, distemper, parvo and other awful diseases if not fully vaccinated, so be careful!!!

∙ 12y agoI don't know if there is an exact age that they are allowed, but I do know most kennels will not allow a dog to be boarded there until they have had a bordatella vaccination. This prevents kennel cough.

Most kennels hold to this rule, because the puppy has had some of his shots.
