it depends where do u live the laws r different evrywhere

While you should always take into account your local regulations, you should also be aware of the pros and cons associated with frontal airbags (the main reason why small children typically should not be allowed to use the front seat).

Where modern airbags are concerned, we can easily compare the amount of injuries and fatalities caused by airbags to the amount of lives saved and injuries prevented by them and see that airbags greatly improve the safety of your vehicle. That said, small injuries are very common amongst adult passengers, broken fingers, bruises, and burns from the inert but very hot gas which allows the airbag to inflate so rapidly.

I think that the general rule is that children under the age of 13 should not be allowed to sit in the front seat, but this ultimately depends on the size of your child. If you have an infant, or a very little one, you should never use a rear facing child-safety seat because it puts their head too close to the front dash. Front facing child-safety seats are also considered dangerous.

Even if your child is close to 13, you should only allow them to sit in the front seat when the seat is pushed back fully, and you should prevent them from leaning forward to tie their shoes, etc..

Some modern cars have functions allowing you to turn off the front seat passenger airbag.

When they are physically big enough to be properly restrained by the seat and shoulder belts or if you have a car seat or booster seat to make it safe. However in some cars this is not advised because of the passenger side air bag. If there is no way to turn it off in the case of small children, they need to stay properly restrained in the back seat.

Check state regulations. Most states require that children sit in the back seat until they get to a specific weight. But it all depends on State law.
