For car insurance, it's whenever you receive your license. So around 16, I would assume.
at what age can a minor be insured in NY state for life insurance
under the age of 16 is considered a minor. New York is one of three states in the United States that does this.
When they are no longer 17. The age of majority in New York is 18. Until then the minor is the responsibility of the parents.
was 17
theycould move out of perents house at the age of 20
There is no age limit in any state but Maryland, where the requirement is 13.
NY will report to SC and SC will put it on your record but NY does not place out of state minor tickets on your record.
the insurance policy must conform to the statue of the state that the accident occured in....so in this case NJ statues would apply.....
18 years old
you have to be 18 to legally move out of your parents house without there permission and they technically can't make you stay because you aren't a minor and they have no control over you.
If you rent a car in MA you can not return it to NY. The car is insured in MA, so if you drive out of state they will track down the car and make you return it. If the car was rented from NY that is a whole different story. You can return it in NY if you rented from NY. I did not make this question up. I'm just giving you the answer. (I think this is a stupid question anyway.)
Nopee , Youu Couldd Divorcee Your Parentss At The Age Of 18. That's The Age When You Are Legally On Your Own.
