Robert Rich is an ambient artist that released a CD called Somnium (actually on a DVD) and its 7 hours long, its meant to be listened all the way through, but there are three parts, the longest is the first, clocking in at 155 minutes, or 2 hours and 35 minutes

Not according to Fred Bronson's The Billboard Book of Number One Hits. In the 1997 edition, Bronson names The Beatles' "Hey Jude" (1968), at 7:11, to be the longest #1 single of all time. This edition takes Don McLean's "American Pie" single (1972) into account.

While the complete album version of "American Pie" is indeed longer (at 8:27), the single was split into two parts. Even though radio DJs apparently did favour the long version, this is possibly why "Hey Jude" is considered a longer single.

Meat Loaf's "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" is 12:00 on the album version. The U.S. single edit, which hit #1, is only 5:09 in length.

World Record by Glenn Davis Doctor G. It may also literally be a World's Record since it is a notable commercially released album by an "established artist" for sale by third-party legitimate known retailers which would satisfy the requirements in order to be verified as a recognized World Record.

Pink Floyd's evergreen album The Dark Side of the Moon continues to hold the record, by far, for the most charted weeks on the Billboard 200: 917! The set, which was released in 1973 and spent a week at No. 1, continued to chart on a mostly regular basis through 1988.
