Freshwater aquatic animals. Some may also be crawdads, tadpoles, frogs, turtles, etc. Again, plants would be cattails and other brush.

Because that's their natural habitat if they live in a lake they aren't going to just move to sea because they want to. Let's say you lived on Mars or whatever, so now all of a sudden you want to move to another galaxy for no reason? why would you, do you have to?
