What are 'fadsticks'?

Fadsticks

Either I've heard the term used once before or I just came up with this meaning on my own, but "fadsticks" could mean cigarettes...hmmm something to ponder.

Answer

I think the term the above answerer was looking for is the British slang for a cigarette, a fag. A fag is, generally speaking a lit stick.

Answer

In Australia we used to have these lollys called Fads, which where about 8cm white sticks made of white musk stuff with a red tip, lime a lit ciggarette. We used to pretend to smoke them. You can still get them, but they taste funny and the red tip is gone.
