What are 10 reasons why recycling is important?

Answer:
Recycling is important because it reduces the amount of rubbish going to landfill. Also a lot of materials can be reused and made into new things again and that saves energy and resources. It uses a lot less energy to recycle aluminum than to make new aluminum. Most things are recyclable like glass, most plastics, aluminum, cardboard and paper, aerosol cans. Even things like organic waste like fruit and vegetable scraps. You can have a compost bin in your backyard and put fruit and vegetable scraps in there. There is too much rubbish at the moment, people need to recycle a lot more.
