no source of energy is actual renewable. Once energy is used entropy keeps it from be reused, this is why we don't have perpetual motion machines.
If you want two nor renewable energy source from the political world it would be any resource that once used does not return, and watter.
Hydroelectric is considered non renewable (don't know why and I have multiple bachelor degrees in science)
fossil fuels (Coal, natural gas, gasoline, diesel, kerosene etc.)
wind and solar are both considered renewable.
Coal and oil.
1. Safety. Electricity can kill by shock or by fire. 2. Energy conservation. Waste will cost you money, most supplies are produced by non-renewable sources.
advantages of renewable- it can be used over and over again. used to make power disadvantages of renewable- solar panels are expensive, so are wind turbines advantages of non-renewable- very efficient. lots of experience in field disadvantages of non-renewable- it pollutes the environment. it is difficult to dispose of
Sunlight and water are 2 examples of renewable sources because they will never run out.
The UK already obtains about 2% of its electricity from renewable sources, chiefly from large to medium scale hydro-electric plants.
wind power and solar power
83% hydroelectric. Other sources less than or equal to 2%
here are a few of them: 1) they donot cause pollution. 2) they donot contribute to global warming. 3) they are renewable (i.e they donot get over).
hydro electricity is an efficient source of energy 1. pollution free 2. renewable 3. no worries of exhaustion of natural resources
There are mainly two basic sources of power (energy). 1) conventional or no-renewable power (energy) 2) non-conventional or renewable power (energy) Petrol, diesel, kerosene, wood, coal, and every petroleum products could be in the first type. While solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, hydro, etc are in the second type. Nuclear power could be in both the types.
[1] Coal generates most of Ohio's electricity. Other non-renewable sources are natural and other gases, nuclear power, and petroleum. [2] One of the renewable sources is hydroelectric. Flowing water turns turbine blades. [3] Another's biomass. Corn and wheat crop waste, garbage, and wood are burned to heat water. The resulting steam turns turbine blades. [4] And another's below-ground geothermal energy, to heat water. The resulting steam's used at steam-turbine plants. [5] Still another's mills, to use natural winds to turn generator turbines. [6] Yet another's solar, by photovoltaic cells.
