Hallucinogens are drugs that modify people's perceptions. There are many including:
Marijuana, Cocaine and Heroin can hallucinate but are not classed as Hallucinogen.
well I know of one its chemical name is Myristica but you would know it as nut meg. I have personally tried it and do not recommend it. If you take 2-4 tea spoons you could get a buzz but it really depends on the person, and also its easily overdosed on because its affects take about 5 hours to start and people keep taking more waiting for it to kick in, oh and it last from 24-72 hours. It will cause impairments and mild hallucinations but it won't be like doing LSD or Magic mushrooms or anything. Also the hangover is like god taking a dump on your soul, you'll feel awful, dizziness, flushes, dry mouth, accelerated heartbeat, temporary constipation, difficulty in urination, nausea, and panic. you need a lot to get the real "trip" but you risk poisoning yourself and possibly death. It's said that its effects are comparable to MDMA (ecstasy) but it contains amphetamine derivatives that are found in most people so its basically a weaker and more "painful" form. Also it tastes disgusting I don't recommend it but its an answer to your question.
