Yes, you can use a microphone which has a 1/4" (6.35 mm) plug in a computer with an 1/8" socket. You would just need to use an adapter. Now, both the plug and the socket will need to have the same number of conductors. While it might be usable to plug a standard phone plug (2 wires) into a TRS socket ("tip, ring, sleeve" -- 3 wires) or vice-versa, you likely will be missing sound from one side. In that case, there are additional adapters to convert between those types of plugs and sockets.
3/4 inch socket - .030 gap
There may be an engine cover over the valve covers that is a big piece of plastic that may say Hyundai, or Santa Fe, I believe its three or four 10mm retaining nuts that hold it on, take that engine cover off, and there should be 3 wires in the top of each valve cover, those big wires are the spark plug wires, and they actually connect to the spark plug which is down inside the cylinder. To remove, you will need a 3/8 drive ratchet, a long extension, I would say 6-12 inches, long enough, but not too long, and a 5/8" spark plug socket. Take one of the spark plug wires out, and put your long extension with the spark plug socket on it down into the hole that the big wire came out of and you should find a spark plug at the end of the tunnel. :)
An O2 sensor unscrews like a spark plug and then there are 1-3 wires to rehook up.A special socket may be needed on some models.
you take the socket and plug the flasher into it
Buy dual electrode plugs. If unsure of size when removed take one with you to parts store. All I needed to change my plugs was 12mm 3/8 drive socket.13/16 x 3/8 drive plug socket,10 inch 3/8 extension and 3/8 ratchet.Remove bolts from each of the two coil packs located on 2 cylinders closest to drivers side. All 4 plugs can now be accessed by pulling upwards on plug end of plug wires.Depends on how long since wires have been removed sometimes wires come apart on 2 plugs on passenger side. Not to bad to replace at this point. with plug socket, extension and ratchet remove old plugs and replace.I recommend using a little anti-seize lubricant on plug threads. Good Luck
These instructions are for the 2.3 Liter 4 cylinder turbo engine, not the V-6. First of all, Set aside some time Make sure you have the best spark plugs Suggestion: Change your spark plug wires at the same time. Instructions on how to do this are not provided Tools you'll need: Socket wrench Extension for your socket wrench Spark plug socket Step 1. Unhook the spark plug wires from the spark plugs. Make sure you recall which wire you are taking off and where it goes so you'll be able to reattach it. If you have to mark each wire with numbered tape. Step 2. Loosen your 4 spark plugs using your socket wrench, socket wrench extension and spark plug socket. When loosening be gentle and don't make any sudden rapid movements. Unscrew until you are able to pull the socket wrench slowly out of the spark plug hole with the spark plug attached. Repeat step until each spark plug is removed. Step 3. Place a spark plug in the in the spark socket with the pointy end facing into the engine. Then slowly screw in a spark plug into a spark plug hole. Keeping on screwing until you begin to feel resistence. Once you do make about 3 to 4 more turns if you can, but DO NOT over tighten. Make sure the spark plugs are not extremely tight. *As a guage for tightness just recall how tight the spark plugs were before you loosened them.* Continue this step until each spark plug is inserted in its engine port/hole. Step 4. Reattach the spark plug wires to each spark plug just as they were attached before you loosened them Procedure is complete.
1)With hood raised properly you should always disconnect the battery, but it isn't absolutely nec. 2)Remove the 2 bolts that hold the ignition coil down above the spark plugs on top of the cylinder head. Note (there are 2 coils and 2 plug wires) ((Tools you will need: 10mm socket, 3" extension (1/4" drive), 1/4" ratchet) 3)Once the bolts are removed, disconnect the wiring connectors (not the spark plug wires) from the coils. 4) Twist the 2 spark plug wires and 2 coils slightly about 1/4" turn to keep them from sticking while you try to remove them. 5) Pull gently, at first, upwards to remove (ONE AT A TIME) the 2 spark plug wires and 2 coils from the cylinder head. Note:(they may stick so you may have to pull slightly harder to remove them than your original effort) (Repeat this step for each of the 4 cylinders) 6) Once the spark plug wire or coil with boot is removed you need to remove the plugs. Insert the ratchet, extension, and socket assembly down into the cylinder head until the socket fits snugly unto the spark plug. Turn counter-clockwise unti lthe plug loosens. Once the plug is entirely loose remove it from the cylinder head. ((Tools you will need: 5/8" spark plug socket w/boot, 10" extension (3/8" drive), 3/8" ratchet) 7) Remove old plug from the spark plug socket and replace with the new plug. 8) Reverse and repeat the steps to reinstall each plug. Of course make sure you torque the plugs to spec and gap your plugs!!! .
Champion 5843 can be removed with a deep reach socket, size 3/4" or 19mm
There is a plug on the front of the case. Usually a 3/8" square socket plug. Could be dirty enough not to see. Keep looking!
3 cylinders have wires, 3 cylinders have boots attached to the coils.
