The president has definitely changed his mind on this issue. When he was a senator, he said he was against allowing gay people to marry, although he did say he believed in civil unions. But early in 2012, he gave an interview where he said he has evolved on the issue, encouraged by his wife and daughters. Now he says he does believe in marriage equality for gay people. His opponents have said his change was politically-motivated (to get votes from the gay community); but on the other hand, many people have changed their views on social issues, so the president may be very sincere in coming around to believing that gay people should have the right to marry.

Barrack Obama is in support of Gay Rights and Gay Marriage. He admitted this and for The Sun Newspaper and also in a video for The It's Get Better Project. Barrack says that he believes everyone is equal and two men or women who love each other have the right to equality and marriage; no one should deny them love.

Chick-fil-A's founder and chief operating officer (CEO), Dan Cathy has recently been in the news regarding his views on same-sex marriage. Cathy's views are a stretch to state that he is against same-sex marriage where in his speech he talks about how individuals who have the audacity to define what marriage is about over what God has already are wrong to do so.
