well i saw a website and it said that dragonflies do sleep but im not sure so dont be so sure on this cas i really dont think they do All insects are exothermic, meaning their body temperature is dependent on the ambient temperature. When the temperature outside goes down, their metabolism goes down accordingly. So like humans and other mammals, who's metabolism goes down when we sleep, dragonflies and other insects have a reduced metabolism and "sleep" at night.
